Yes it is, the browser is neutered making sure that's it's just stupid enough to browse the internet. Hopefully they don't add much more to the final version.

From what I can tell yeah but you can't watch vids on all websites because they require certain plug-ins. Youtube works fine though. Can't listen to music though. Â

Wii uses Opera, which uses only installed ActiveX controls, such as Flash and no others, so it's completely safe. This aside from the fact that Spyware is designed for a Windows OS, on which I'm pretty certain Wii does not run.
