I'm going to be picking it up this weekend. It's not like they're similar styles of game. [=^) I really enjoyed the few minutes I played it at EB. It looks like one you'll finish then every once in a while you'll go back and run a race or two.
If you're more of the "frail" type that gets a game and tries to finish it as fast as you can not caring about rank or score or overall completetion of the game then don't get it.
If you're more of a "dedicated" gamer that want to unlock everything plus score the highest plus finish the game and gain 100% done then it's a good buy.
YES, i got it this morning and its amazing. Game play is good, sounds track is good, super fast and to get S rank on some early tracks ive tried isn't easy so might actually get challenging. Im gonna have a 2 player game in a minute hopefully its as good as the one player.
I think so.It's worth buying if you're a huge racing fan like me. Im buying Wario Ware and Excite Truck today and I'll have tons of fun. Plus I get a week of school :):):):):)

I got it today too and I love it, it gives you an amazing sensation of speed and the set up of the points system makes the gameplay even more hectic. The only disappointing aspect is the lack of four player and bots in the multiplayer section, but hopefully this will be rectified if this game gets a sequel *crosses fingers*; it would be great if you could choose to use a truck or bike too.
I bought Excite Bike off the VC last night to refresh my memory and Excite Truck seems a great sequel, the games have more in common then i first thought, Excite Truck is a great game though, putting the fun and speed back in racing without getting beaten up with shells.
