if you saved your virtual games on your USB key...

and you lose your USB key, do you have to re-buy the games you already purchased to play them again or you can just download them for free once you paid for them ?

that in the context that you have no more free space on the virtual console.

The Wii store keeps track of what VC games you've bought, so you can delete them and redownload them for free.

Yup. Or you can transfer the games to an SD card.

Yup. Or you can transfer the games to an SD card.



In addition to that, you can only play VC games on the specific Wii that it was downloaded from. The data also has to be moved to the Wii's main memory or re-downloaded from the shop (free re-download of course).

P.S., you can actually save onto a USB drive?  I didn't know that.

He was stating a hypothetical situation. He couldve used a SD card instead of the USB drive.
