I'm Fucking Awful at Hyrule Warriors, Please Help

I've been trying to get into Hyrule Warriors since its release to horrible results, and while I enjoy the game, I seem to be missing something crucial here.

It seems like whenever I get halfway through a battle, I start getting "This base is falling to the enemy!" messages left and right, and I have all of forty seconds to be in four places at once or I fail the mission.

Obviously, I'm doing something horribly wrong. Any advice from Dynasty Warriors enthusiasts?

take as many keeps as you can...the more blue you see on the map...the safer you are... there is no time limit on most of the missions so dont worry about wasting time capturing keeps. with a lot of blue you can relax more.

if you reached a point like you said where you have to be at 4 places at once then you screwed up...its best to just restart the whole mission.

remember after you capture a keep...too keep cvhecking if you havnt lost it....sometime the game tells you which are the most important keeps....usually its your base keep...

anyway all i do is run around making sure things are mostly blue and carry out whatever mission i have to do.....just run around and capture capture capture :P

Yeah, it can be hectic at times. Usually as long as you keep your main base safe you should be ok. If you're stuck in a battle with a mini-boss you can always flee and protect your base or capture a lost base.

That sounds like one hell of a chore.

capturing is fun as hell....you kill like 100 enemies in 1 shot...totally mow them down like grass.

also when you accomplish the mission its very rewarding. sometimes there are mini bosses you have to beat to capture that certain area. this game is challenging at normal difficulty.

Ive seen it... its definitely quite the spectacle..... but still very grindy
