What kind of adventure game do you have in mind? Mario 64 DS is pretty good, New Super Mario Bros. is fun if you like side-scrollers, and I guess Diddy Kong Racing DS could be considered an adventure game...
Action-Adventure, any Castlevania. Text-based(well sorta) Phoenix Wright 1 or 2. I can't recommend Hotel Dusk yet because I barely started but its good so far.
