Not yet however I could imagine that a firmware update in the future may allow for such capability.

The only things that are compatible with the USB ports are the USB keyboards that you can use on the message boards or on the internet channel.

I think there are also fans and charge stations that work too.

Since you're new man you probably don't know yet, but any discussion of modding your Wii is against Gamespots rules. And modding your Wii is unethical to begin with. So no we're not wrong. The Wii cannot read a USB flash drive, however; some users haven't mentioned that Wii Speak at the Guitar Hero/Rock Band microphone use the USB ports as well. Which reminds me, I saw Wii Speak on clearance at Wal-Mart the other day. Man that thing had potential, why didn't you support it Nintendo?

yah the wii is capible of doing so but I doubt they will relace a firmware update for it. It is usb 2.0
