I'm not that familiar with this series but apparently this is a great franchise according to the reviews.

I like the concept and story after watching the trailer of this one.

Apparently the people at Red | Thread are bringing this to WiiU.

The WiiU definitely needs games like this.

Here's the Article

I'm interested and this will be another game to add to my WiiU collection in 2014.

Damn, this is the first game I've seen for WiiU that makes me want the system.

Never played the past games, is this a remake of them or a new game?

What is it similar to as far as play style? It looks very interesting.

Nice! I just found out about it and the kickstarter ended in March. I think it's incredible that they raised $1.5 Million in one month.

The first is mostly similar to normal point & click adventures, like Syberia. The second is actuallly more interactive as you directly control the character.

@nini200: I saw the trailer at NintendoLife and it really looks promising. I hope this comes soon!

I wonder how Nintendo is responding to them, if they have in fact contacted them about this.

That's also what I am wondering. We shall see next year I guess.

I just see Nintendo not taking this seriously and ignoring it.

I don't see why they would. The Longest Journey was one of the more beloved adventure game franchises of the last decade, and while the games only sold about half a million copies each, they reviewed well and they certainly have their fanbase.

I mean, sure, it's a much more well-known franchise on the PC...and Nintendo could potentially stuff this one up, but I don't think they'd want to miss this chance to make some splashes in the indie gaming department. They need all the recognisable WiiU games they can get.
