I think the Shop Channel should have a section for Amiga games. I would love to see some classics on there like:

- Lemmings
- Oh No! More Lemmings
- Street Rod
- After Burner
- Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?
- Duck Tales: Quest For Gold
- James Pond: Robocod
- Turrican I, II and III
- Space Invaders
- Pacman

I would download these for around 400 - 600pts. But then again there are great clasics so they could sell for up to 800 I think.
Would you buy these games, or have anymore to add to the collection?

We have also been discussing the Lemmings games here: http://au.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26188553

The more classic retro games available, the happier I am!

I seriously doubt it. Even NES seems to be too 'retro' for most people these days.

Besides, a few of these games were available on Atari 2600 also, if any early console ends up on VC, it'll be Atari 2600. Although I doubt this also, as you can get most Atari cartridges for far less than 500 VC points.

I want Sega GameGear('s Shinobi 1&2) on VC.

I agree. I think the idea of retro is what most people are after. Kinda similar to how you can buy a pair of faded, older blue jeans with a hole in the knee at the thrift store for 95 cents. Or you can buy pair of faded, older blue jeans with a hole in the knee at the mall for $250.

Very nice, with the game screens and all!

International Karateee.
I just want that one game.
But the controls must be a bit awkward without a joystick.

Never heard of that game for Amiga sorry. Maybe you could use the nunchuck as the joystick?

Man, old games had the best names

Old PC games would be also great on the VC... I mean there is a huge abandonware scene, a lot studios try to close down these website to protect their IP yet they don't offer these old games to the consumers...

Let me play Loom or Police quest or Leisure suit larry on my TV, I want to give you money.

I'd like to try the Turrican games on Amiga.

Just to play a game called Lemmings on a Nintendo console would make it worth it ;)

On a side note wasn't there a superior version of Defender of the Crown on Amiga? I loved the Commodore 64 version... the NES one was just ok.

Just found this.... apparently it came out on the Amiga first and then was ported to the Commodore 64 (and other systems).... had no clue about that... and the Amiga screens look way better than the C64 ones.

If Amiga games came to the Wii VC this would be my first purchase no doubt.
