Just wondering, because recently i have been hearing about a Wii U, and i was wondering if regular Wii Games can be played for it, because i have a lot of Wii Games, and i might buy a Wii U (if i do not get killed in the process during the holidays xD)

Yes. The Wii U will be backwards compatible with Wii game discs, and will support other systems through game downloads.

No, you'll need the Wiimote controller and they'll only work on the TV

lol how else would you play them? They weren't designed for the gamepad. Like skyward sword would literally be unplayable unless the game appeared on the gamepad screen you placed it in its cradle and then used the wii mote and nunchuk...but that would be completely stupid...lol
