Could someone recomend me some good Anime related games translated in english or spanish? I love Anime, and adding some Anime games to my connection would be good.

I own the following:

1) Phoenix Wright: Justice For All.

2) Traume Center: Under The Knife.

As for RPGs, I also want some.

I have:

1) Final Fantasy III

2) Lost Magic (which sucks, not games like that one, please).

Look into Lunar Knights its a Action/RPG with some cool anime cutscenes.

I'm not really a fan of anime, but I love RPGs. Let's see...

The character designs in Etrian Odyssey are anime-styled, and it's a (very hard!) RPG. Custom Robo Arena has them too, and while it's not an RPG, the battles are a lot of fun. Elite Beat Agents also falls under this category.

There's also Jump Ultimate Stars. It's pretty much as anime as you can get, though it's an import. While it's a Japanese-only import game, it's simple enough that you don't need to be able to understand it. It plays somewhat similarly to Super Smash Bros.

Mega Man ZX.

Lunar Knights and Etrian Odyssey are really the way to go for RPGs, and if Jump Ultimate Stars for fighting games, despite it being an import.  If you're patient, some upcoming games that I'd look out for in that vein are Western Lords, ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat and Project Exile.  None of those have release dates yet though, so I wouldn't wait around.  Oh, also, they got that first Naruto RPG headed this way soon.

Current anime related games in english I can think of are:

Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy

Naruto Ninja Council 3

Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja

Pokemon

DBZ Supersonic Warriors 2

Digimon World

Yu-Gi-Oh

Full Metal Alchemist seems to be the obvious choice. If you like the anime style for games even though it's not an actual anime, I would recommend having a look at the Castlevania games.

There is also Izuna:Legend of the unemployed ninja if you want an old school/ hard rpg, and the upcoming Luminous Arc which is a strategy RPG

the anime/ art style in that game is silly looking, and its not very fun.

Bleach is much better than Jump Superstars...

Its treasure... (Well the developer is Treasure)

It's a pretty deep 2d fighter comparable to Street Fighter or Guilty Gear (though balance of characters aren't perfect I suppose)... Surprising for a anime based game...

Its a must have!

I thought Children of Mana was pretty good.

JUMP ULTIMATE STARS

the best anime game u can get, u wont be disappointed... all the great anime characters

Everyone is recomending me that one =/. But I am not sure if it is in english or spanish.
#16 Posted by Gao-Gao (86 posts) -
Jump Ultimate Superstars is very good and has many characters from different animes, but you can't get it in english/spanish and it never will be. It's a beat 'em up similar to Super Smash Bros. The closest you can get to that style of game in english/spanish keeping with anime is Naruto Ninja Council 3.

It's a japanese only game:( Too bad that NA doesn't have all those animes on the game. You should try Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Edless Frontier I'm a fan of Anime and I love that game:P

Also It's in English and It's a RPG so it califies:o

Anime: Jump Ultimate Stars- Even though it is only available in Japanese

RPG: The World Ends With You- My favourite DS RPG and I think you will like the art stile

Super Robot Tensai is a really fun RPG that is very much anime-inspired, however the game makes a lot of boobie jokes, so if you are offended by this steer clear.

#22 Posted by tartardk (172 posts) -

Well what about the world ends with you and Kingdom hearts 358/2 days those have graphics that look like anime (The world ends with you atleast)

The World Ends With You and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor.

Why limit yourself. Get Dragon Quest 5, which is Anime based, but for DS games you don't really see any Anime.

I hope you mean anime-based RPGs, since Devil Survivor, TWEWY, and Super Robot Tensai are incredibly anime-influenced (art stle and such). Also there is Disgaea which is somewhat anime based, the Bleach series has a couple of games, although these are mostly fighting games, not RPGS.

I am aware that this topic is quite old now even so,

Someone's already said it i believe but the Harvest Moon series is always quite enjoyable,

if you want a full voiced anime rpg Suikoden Tierkreis is very engaging good plot good battle system,

Bleach the third phantom has a good plot and the traditional grid battle system,

Time Hollow is good for those who like puzzle games,

the Lost in Blue games series are survival based games which also have a nice feeling of companionship with the other surivors,

Dragon Quest IX, is your traditional rpg complete with plot, level grinding and weird spell and monster names

all the Phoenix Wright series + Apollo Justice + Miles Edgeworth games are good.

Super Robot Taisen is pretty good. The combat is excellent even if the story is ridiculous.

Dragon Quest springs to mind.

It's hard to figure out what is anime based with the graphics capability of the DS. Would FF Tactics A2 be considered anime like? What about Knights in the Nightmare?

1.Ragnarok Ds (Borrowed it from a friend and thought it was fun) 2. Summon night twin age (very hard to find, and a little too easy, But I still found it to be fun.) 3. Dragon quest 9 (amazing game I recommend.)

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is my favorite, then Dragon Quest IX a close second. I prefer the anime style in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor so much more than the Dragon Quest style one, something about the style of DQ9's just feels a little weird to me. Plus the story in Shin Megami Tensei is far more engaging in my opinion.

Princess Debut- case appeared with cute anime girl. Sands of Destruction, I watched World Destruction anime, last year. It was good. I did not play its DS game yet.

I think the harvest moon games are good, but if u want actiony stuff, try rune factory games. I like them both ^^ the pictures r also reasonably cute.

Golden sun is great and so is Final Fantasy Tactics A2

If you have a 3DS wait for Tales of the Abyss to get released

Here are some that I recommend playing:

Pokemon:Black / Pokemon:White - It's a very well known RPG series about catching, raising and battling tons of magical monsters.
Click (HERE) for a youtube trailer.

Mario & Luigi:Bowser's inside story - It may not have an anime look, but it is a FANTASTIC turn based Action RPG!
Click (HERE) for a youtube trailer.

Dragon Quest IX - It's one of the best RPG's on DS.
Click (HERE) for a youtube trailer.

Phantasy Star Zero - My brother owns this one, I think it's probably the best Action RPG on DS.
Click (HERE) for a youtube trailer.

Solatorobo:Red the Hunter - And last but not least, This is an Action RPG adventure releasing later this year that I'm waiting for.
Click (HERE) for a youtube Gameplay trailer. And (HERE) is a trailer of it's great animated opening *Might have slight spoilers*.

You should give The World Ends With You a try. It has a nice anime inspired look and it's pretty funny.
