Animal Crossing New Leaf release date

Now i have been looking around lately to find some more things on the game, Animal Crossing new Leaf. I found this

Could this be just a wild guess? I found it on Gamestop.com. They say the release is May 1, 2013. I also searched up On GameSPOT.com and it says here the the release is June 30, 2013. Just search up animal crossing up above and see for yourself. Im thinking they are just guesses? What do you guys think?
