it appears Amazon has decided to start selling 3DS and 3DSXL's

but they are still not selling WiiiU's or 2DS's..at the moment

this is a nice step for nintendo getting back into online retail.

Don't know what you are talking about, Amazon UK and Amazon Spain have been selling 3DS, 3DS XL and WiiUs ever since they were launched.

I bought mine a week ago.

Since when did Nintendo and Amazon start having problems?

I wasn't aware there was any kind of rift between Amazon and Nintendo at all.

ever since the launch of the 3ds amazon got pissed people were returning their 3ds bacause the bottom screen scratched the top...nintendo wouldnt compensate amazon...so amazon stopped selling nintendo consoles directly.

you could always buy at amazon but it was through a 3rd party merchant until this month...now it has changed,

It was annoying being a buyer in the middle of that feud. Often prices on Nintendo products would increase if stock was low (which happened often), heck the 3ds XL was at $240 for a while. Now that they made up the prices have gotten more realistic which is good.

US amazon there has been. they've refused to sell their hardware directly. if you get one from their site, its from a 3rd party.
