Who came up with the idea that the Steelers would be 8th in the power rankings? The defense will still be the class of the league, the offense will still ram the ball down the field, and the special teams have been superb so far this preseason. Expect 13 wins this year, and a 3 game winning streak in the playoffs. You heard it here first.

That's because the Broncos are at where the Raiders were in 2003. They're team is gettin' old and they're gonna have to start getting new young talent. Only difference is they have amazing LBs. Part of it is also because Jake Plummer just flat out sucks; even if he doesn't want to admit it, he does.
As a Philadephia fan(grew up as one) and New England fan(live in NE) I'm loving this, I was hoping the Eagles would finally win a super bowl though last year but I was still happy NE won, why are the damn Bills so high though

the dolphins should not be higher, you have a rookie RB and a former elite RB that sat out for a year, he has to re-prove himself, so that is actually a weakness for the dolphins and their QB still sucks, so the offense still needs help

I could say the exact same thing about the Bears... If only Chicago would would give carries to the RB with the most potential(T-Jones) besides you can't be a top 5 team with J.P. Lopsman

I completely agree. This power poll was a joke if you asked me. I'm a Packer fan and even I criticize their off-season antics and hold outs galore the past few seasons but I don't expect them to be one of the worst teams in the NFL with Brett Favre on their team. They might be .500 this season but they will definitely have more than six wins.
I also think the Bills being fifth with a second year quarterback who didn't play much last year is a load of crap. When you have Pittsburg at eighth with Big Ben who was a big hit in the NFL last year, it just reflects how much thought (or the lack their of) of the sports writers who made this actually put into it.
All I have to say is lets shove these pre-season polls up those sports writer's a$$e$ and play some football!
