The coach that wont get it but who had one one hell of ajob coaching is Nick Saban, no one could forseen how he turned a lousy 4-12 team into avery competitive 7-7 team, who in all likeliness will be 8-8 and this is a sign of good things to come I gurantee you that.

So who will it be? I say its Marvin Lewis, he turned the Bengals around in a big way.

Lovie Smith because no one expected anything out of the Bears and someone has to get credit for how good they are.

What about Lovie Smith and the Bears? Experts expected no more then 3 wins out of them this year, And look at them now, They win the division and Clinch First Round Bye in the playoffs, Not to mention the best Defence in the NFL.

Good now that I'm finally unbanned I can say Bill Belicheck, he's been playing with a patchwork FA defense and 3rd string RB and he's still won the east which is rather weak but the Pats are still 10-5 with an extremly non-division schedule

Coach of the year in my opinion would have to be Tony Dungy, forming an almost undefeatable team isn't easy to do. Poor guy, sad to hear his son died too, you can tell it's affecting his coaching. I mean c'mon he barely beat the Cardinals last week, 17-14, so sad.

Peyton Manning saw three plays.  That's it.  They rested nearly their entire starting roster.  The narrow victory wasn't at all surprising.

too easy, Tom Coughlin for the NFC, and Nick Saban for the AFC, both took struggling teams and made them have a winning record, i was ecspecially impressed with Saban, taking them to a 9-7 record without a decent QB or RB is very impressive

Ronnie Brown is better than decent.....you missed one the Dolphin fan's on here trying to place him in the same sentence as LaDanian Tomlinson a while back...that was screamingly hilarious.

Tony Dungy? I bet your taking that back now.

Seriously, I think it's Mike Holmgren. Well, at least he seems like a good coach that has control of his players. He's a class act coach if you ask me.

Pfffttt.....O-VER-RATED.  One Super Bowl and all of a sudden he's a God.....we're not comparing him to a certain QB are we Mr. Bird???  While he is a great guy in general and seems to be doing a good job with the Seahawks...we don't really know their true potential since they're playing in the NFC.  Look at it this way....the Raiders beat the Redskins who narrowly lost to the Seahawks in the Playoffs.  They're a little shaky.  If they even made it to the Super Bowl, I would be shocked....

I'm not exactly saying that he's the best coach to ever live. I hardly think he's a "God". I just think he's coach of the year. You have to admit that Seattle did overachieve just a little. I didn't expect their WRs to play so well this year compared to last year.

That, and I must say other than Locklear, it seems that he always has respectable and classy teams. When he was in GB, what impressed me the most was how classy the team was. After he left, all the Packers picked up where thugs and morons. That's why I have so much respect for Holmgren.

Meh...even if they won the Super Bowl, I'm still not sold.
