In my country pakistan it's all about samsung and HTC when it comes to android. Xperia line is also getting some popularity but motorola and LG just dont get much love here so far.

Samsung is the worldwide market leader with android phones and I think it's well deserved. They make the best hardware and they have improved alot with the touchwiz 4.0. Needless to say samsung is my favourite.

Who is your favourite android manufacturer? :)

I like pure Google, so I guess Samsung right now. Probably Motorola next year if they take over the Nexus line.

Only one I've owned is Motorola, and so far I think I'll pick them. The build quality of the Razr is great and Blur isn't as bad as people let on.

I see you're from Pakistan. Where abouts are you from? Pretty much my entire family is from Karachi. My parents are from North Nazimabad.

My first Android device was a Motorola, after five months of use, the battery wouldn't last a day even with everything off (3G, programs that runs on background, etc). Now, I have a Samsung that I got in July and just two days ago the touchscreen stopped working and trying to request a repair through the Samsung website is impossible at the moment, spent all day yesterday and I was only able to reach someone via live chat, but even that didn't help either.

So, I'm never buying a Motorola or a Samsung phone again. I know Samsung TV's are plagued with malfunction, but I thought their mobile devices were more reliable, I was wrong, searching yesterday I found that there's a lot of Samsung phones with touchscreen problems.

Samsung TVs are arguably the best TVs around. Their phones are also top-notch in terms of quality. You just don't seem to have much luck with electronics, lol. Also, you could have just replaced the battery on your Motorola, no need to go out and get a new phone.

I have the Motorola Droid 2. Had it rooted and liked it for awhile but then the ROM became unstable and lack of updates wasn't appealing. The new GB update improved some things, but I swear my battery life has diminished.

I don't think I'll get another Motorola phone. I'll probably go with HTC or Samsung from what I've heard.

right now im all for samsung, because its the best of both worlds close to 90%of the iphones hardware is samsung, so its like an iphone with android, a deadly combination. Although watch out for motorola, the recent buy out by google, the makers of Android, Im sure the APhone will be anounced this year and it will be motorola.
