Good news for Microsoft! The Surface brand was putting in the red with the release of Surface RT, 2, and the first two Pro's. Since the release of the Surface Pro 3, MS was able to put the brand in the Green and now reports that they have made over $713 million in revenues. Still no data of how many have sold, but you can easily say that third time really is a charm.

Next month, the Surface 3 will be release and kids graduating from their senior year from high school will want to get a brand new Surface 3 for college as it's just a better overall productivity tablet than the iPad or any Android tablet.

Microsoft announced that during its third 2015 fiscal quarter, which ended on March 31, its Surface tablet division had generated $713 million in revenue, which was up 44% compared to the same period a year ago. As usual, Microsoft did not state how many Surface tablets it had sold during the last quarter.

When you celebrate a product for FINALLY being profitable after many years, it goes to show how piss poor that product actually is.

Huh. Okay, that's interesting news. I think MS would have had more luck if they'd waited a year to announce it initially.

The Surface is a superb product. It just did not have enough word of mouth going around to take off the way Apple products do.
