The mobile development platforms (phone & tablet) for Qualcomm's 20nm Snapdragon 810 (64-bit 8-core) have been announced, and they will be shipping by mid December. Both phone and tablet are coming from Intrinsyc, a Canadian company, and will be priced at $799 USD and $999 USD respectively.

OMG... 6" now... go smaller, the 6+ and Nexus 6 look completely stupid in public when people are talking into something bigger than their hand.

It's just a mobile development platform. Manufacturers can implement it with just about any display size.

Not big on the 4k screen as lets face it there is zero reason for it on a small screen like that, and costs so much in performance. Though it is nice to see that 20nm chips are out there kicking around now. Means tablets are about to outperform all the consoles and be on par with mid range gaming laptops. Shit's about to get real interesting. So pumped to see this leap from Nvidia and AMD, because when they finally do pc gaming in it's mobile aspect should get a hell of a lot more viable.

Is the wireless frequency a typo? 2.5Ghz instead of 2.4Ghz?

Also specs say 3GB LPDDR4, is that a typo?

Yeah, that's a typo. The tablet is 4GB and the phone is 3GB.
