Chances are the new Mali-450/Mali-T604 will rival/beat the Adreno 320. The Mali-T658 will be in a league of its own, but that's still a ways off along with TI's new OMAP5.

Impressive but what will actually use all this power? Besides a few games most single core phones are enough and the dual core ones are hardly even being pushed for most things. Mobile tech has almost got to where desktop tech go a few years ago and is going far beyond what most people can use. I amazes me people will upgrade a highend phone every 6 months to a year. There is almost no reason to do so besides bragging rights. Made sense between 2008-2010 but now there is so little between phones for most things.

Great to see, very much hope to see this or something better even in the next Nexus phone. The line between true console graphics and mobile graphics is almost to an end now, can't wait to see what happens when developers have something like this as the standard.

I think you need to give these things some more time to let developers realise the full potential and start taking advantage of the hardware. An example of something that will take advantage of this power is Windows RT, which will be running on S4 Pro hardware.

Yes I'm sure it will be used in a year or so time but right now it is overkill. Will be awesome once devs really push new phones. The graphics they already have is amazing, soon consoles won't look much better than phones

Everything ive been reading has been saying the adreno 320 will be subpar on time of launch and that apples and samsungs offerings will be superior to this. They were silly the adreno 320 should have been with the dual core krait, and they should have done an overclocked adreno 325 for the quad core.

^It looks as if the Mali-T604 will likely beat out the Adreno 320, and is likely going to release around the same time.

One other important factor that the Adreno 320 and future mobile GPUs will have support for is OpenGL ES 3.0.

I did read that but it also stated that developers wont be utilising openGL ES 3.0 until it becomes marketly more viable.
