Even something like the Adobe PDF reader is pretty decent. You can highlight, zoom, select, bookmark etc... which was very helpful when I took a course that only provided a digital textbook.

There's more like movies, music, etc... but I don't really use mine for those.

Apps? I use my Nexus 7 primarily for gaming and there's plenty of quality games to choose from.

What was your plan for it when your bought it?
