So I am a college student and I am looking for a Samsung tablet to help me out with school. I have the Note 3 phone, but it is just too small to use on a regular basis, especially for note taking. My girlfriend has the Note 10.1 2014 edition, I like it, but I'd rather have something else (we live together and it would be weird having two of the exact same devices in the house). Right now the new Galaxy Tab S looks great and has been getting amazing reviews, but should I get this or just wait for the new Note Tablet that should theoretically be released just around the corner?

Please don't say get a laptop because I am not interested.

Thanks!

I have a note 10.1 2014 and i like it but find it to big and heavy for one hande use so i find myself using my lg g3 alot more nowadays...but. Still want something a lil bigger so im waiting on the xperia z3 8" tablet which seems to be be asfast as the note 10.1 but slimmer and waterproof

Well the main draw with the Note 10 2014 Edition is that it has a Stylus. That being said, I don't think I would ever be in a situation where I would have to one-hand a tablet since they are mostly all designed for 2 handed operation (excluding the 8" versions)

There's always the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablet though it's kinda expensive. Or you could get the Nvidia Shield it's like $299, it's powerful, are you an experienced android user if so you may be able to get the apps you need for college onto the shield

here's a link to the Galaxy Note Pro http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-galaxy-note-pro-12-2-32gb-black/3718026.p?id=1219093181542&skuId=3718026&st=categoryid$pcmcat209000050006&cp=1&lp=11

And here is a unboxing/review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyOgbNJb1qY
