If you've ever played a text-based game, you will see more quickly than most the appeal of this title, A Dark Room. It's a game on iOS (not available on Android according to my sources) that features you, in a place you aren't familiar with, with characters you've never met, with an end-goal that you're not privy to.
If you're wondering how it plays, it's also available for free online in your browser.
I recommend everyone give it a go, and really pay attention to how things change as you make decisions. I'm more familiar with the mobile version (and happier with the interface), but this web version gives you the idea. But pay attention to what happens, how things change, how terms change, and the subtle (and not-so-subtle) warnings you'll get as you play.
