Nexus 7 ..did i spend too much

Bought the 199 one from staples..also 40 buck leather case and 50 dollars plan in case the glass cracks or breaks..Heard some people had glass problems so i shelled out 300 bucks altogether..did i mess up much.......i'm in my 60's and fairly dumb:(

I think you may have found a case cheaper online like ebay, but its always exciting getting your new product so don't fret too much..

I got the 32 GB version ($250, plus shipping, from Google), plus $15 for a pretty nice case with a "smart" cover, and $7 or so for 2 invisible screen protectors (might get more).

I'm not regretting it since it was either this or the new iPod touch, and that would've been $300 alone lol. I'm freaking loving the larger screen (especially since I'm using it for drawing). Just gotta get use to carrying it outside of my pants pockets :P.

Friend bought a case off ebay for $5 and has magnets too get the screen to shutoff, so returnz case?

The nex 7 itself is a bargain however.

The case on my Nexus 10 was £13 and seems good so far, it has open/close wake/sleep function and everything.

Don't buy a cheap leather case for it, get an otterbox.
