Inactivity and thus obesity are global problems that many would like to fight. Currently, the sustained commitment rates for the use of available sports tracker apps are very low. 60% of people give up their sport related resolutions in the very first two months and this number is increasing by time.
Tep approaches the problem of inactivity with the methodology of games. It is a combination of a sports tracker and a virtual pet feedable by real physical activities.
Tep utilizes your mobile’s location services so you can track your outdoor activities such as running, walking and cycling sessions. It is also compatible with popular wearable activity trackers so Fitbit and Jawbone users can nurture their small giraffes with a variety of activities.
