Seems wasteful. Aren't those batteries just tossed in a lake afterwards...
He doesn't care, he doesn't even care that iPhones and iPads are made by slave labor as long as it's Apple
@FireEmblem_Man: Don't be jealous. I know how crap support is for your device, but the heckling isn't necessary ;)
Apple is also the greenest of the bunch. They've won awards for the better part of the decade for having the most environmentally friendly business models as well as products. Where are your awards?
As for your slave labor comment... Microsoft, Google, Samsung, and pretty much any major electronics company are far more guilty than Apple is in that regard. Apple's the only one with a vested interest in improving conditions throughout its supply chain.
Poor unread ignoramous. Knowledge is power

Far from crap, and MS doesn't use slave labor on their products like Apple does. In fact, at least MS is now moving away from China and sending their products to Flextronics unlike Apple!
I've never understood how people can be so loyal to a company that doesn't care about them.
It's because of his "30-year experience" working with Windows PC that made him that way
@kraken2109: Exactly. Critical thinking led me away from MS and to Apple's platforms. Microsoft's lack of effort the past two decades really showed.
Took a big slice of humble pie for me to be seen with an Apple product, but I haven't looked back.

It's not so much that they're loyal to a company so much as they are to its products. If you like them, they work for you, you'll probably keep buying them.
Brand loyalty is the result of consistently good experiences--something Samsung is currently lamenting, because they enjoy very little of it and it shows. What an epic slide.
