Android's system update bricked my keyboard...

My keyboard reverted back to its original state (and my live wallpapers were deleted but I got them back) with the update. Now I can't seem to put it back the way I want. I know you're supposed to be able to bring up the input method by pressing and holding on the text box but input method just doesn't come up. Any suggestions?

I figured out how to change keyboard apps but can't seem to find the skin I was using.

EDIT: Got one of my skins back but the suggested word thing is far more complicated now and I hate it.
