Pretty simple question. I think the BF4 beta was awesome, and I'm a huge fan of BF3. On the other hand, GTA V is amazing. But the online isn't as great as I was expecting. And after you beat the game once, it kinda gets old pretty quick (I never had much fun going on the killing sprees)

What do you guys think?

Well, rockstar of course will release story add on content in the future, and we all know they always give us amazing content. So you might want to keep GTAV.

You could always trade it in now towards bf4, and than pick up gtav down the road when the dlc comes out. I personally would never sell a game like GTAV.

you made it sound pretty much you made your mind up. You think the SP is boring after you beat it, Your not enjoying the MP much.

You like the bf3 beta

Your answer is right there man. No reason hold on to itand my well get rid of it while it's fresh as the price is at it's highest. I suggest you sell it on ebay/craigslist. You can easily get 45ish on ebay/craigslist. GS will only give you $30 unless you can catch a 50% trade in day

GTA V on the run up to Christmas (more so in the New Year) will start dropping in price. While the online is interesting it still is primarily a single-player game. With such a large amount of sales in the first week retailers will see a large amount of copies being traded in for next-gen, which will cause the price to fall.

My recomendation would be to get it finished then trade it in. Like a few earlier posters mentioned, once the DLC lands (and if you like the look of it) go out and pick up a cheaper copy preowned.

Trade it in now while it still has value

BF4 will be more of the same from BF3 so you can't go wrong if you're a fan of the series.

What if he's not getting the new console? Since he's asking about getting rid of GTA now I'd assume he may want the game for 360.

Obviously if you like BF more than GTA, you probably won't regret it. But consider that GTAV has much more going for it in the way of intrigue as opposed to the generally unchanged mechanics of online fps games.

While what you say about fps games is true, they rarely change significantly, GTA earns that distinction as well. It's essentially the same thing they've been doing for years.

Thanks for eveyone's input. I traded in GTAV, got BF4, and don't regret it at all. Although I might pick up GTA again after the online heists are added. I probably wouldn't have traded in GTA if I had friends who played it, but all my friends play BF and CoD (considering picking up Ghosts after Christmas, even though I've been a hardcore BF fan for a long time)
