I was like that earlier in my SW career.
If someone was wrong in SW at any given time, you could bet your ass I was there within moments to correct them. :P
I've been like that before... really stupid waste of time if you ask me. :lol:smokeydabear076I think almost everyone who regularly visits SW have been like that. Still, looking back at my own encounters now, it's hard to stop grinning. :P

That was pretty much how ever firday and saturday night went...I dunno, but somewhere between then and now, I just stopped caring. I mean, back then, I would address EVERY single topic that I thought was wrong.
*EDIT* Dammit, this comic makes me want to have a girlfriend like the one the creator has...this town sucks.
I totally used to do that... I *can't* stop until they're wrong and they know it :xJandurinYeah it can be so painful.

I'm slowly weaning myself off of System Wars. I've known for a long while that System Wars is a neverending time sink and that each time I post there, I'm just participating in an overblown excersize in futility.
I'm pretty sure that I knew it was a waste of time the first month I started posting there, but for some reason I kept on doing it, following that "mommy something is WRONG on teh internetz" mentality. In my later times on SW I decided to stop caring. It worked for the majority of the time, but I had a few incidents where I would go back to OMGZ you are wrong  .I'm slowly weaning myself off of System Wars. The majority of System Wars discussion is based on opinion and changing someone's opinion is easier said than done. Also all those stupid "rules" we are supposed to follow create all kinds of hypocrisy. Those are just a few issues among tons of other problems which add up to the place being full of pointless discussion.
I think the best solution is to just go cold turkey on the place. I did that a few months ago (although I did post a few stupid silly posts like once a month). It seems like the place has gotten worse since I took my "vacation" so I guess it is going to have to permanent now, the place is just too annoying these days.
The inhabitants of System Wars aren't the only people who suffer from this "something is wrong on the internet" mindset though. I have seen this sort of thing everywhere on these forums. I left System Wars to escape those ideals, but sometimes you just can't help avoiding them. In the PC game forums I had someone who argued with me for days (of course I didn't sit there all day, but the discussion went on over the course of a few days) about something. Now I was partly at fault for this because I was doing that "you're wrong thing", but so was the other person and when I finally realised that I was being an idiot for participating in such a futile discussion I gave up, but the person kept on going and going. For some reason some people can't stop. They need to beat a dead horse and then nuke it after its postmortem beating and after that they need to stomp on the remaining particles.:? The best way to make a person like that shut the hell up is to say something which they can't truly respond to and that is exactly what I did.
If you look at any part of these forums you are bound to find people who think that way and I'm pretty sure that teh whole internetz suffers from this problem. Anyways I've wasted too much time talking to people who are resolute in their views to bother going to "war" with people of their kind again.
Edit: lulz here I am typing up this huge wall of text, talking about how I'm not going to be wasting time anymore. Oh well, what's done is done.:x

Am I the only SW warrior outside Blackbond left from GUFU?SpruceCabooseI'm usually at least lurking SW, but lately it seems like 90% of the threads are either "Rehashed MGS topic that somehow escaped the sticky" or "Rehashed PC gaming is/is not dying topic".
Currently it is 3:03am. Yoshi is finishing up Death Note and BlackBond is polishing that sexy body of his while watching Baseball and browsing SW.
I mean if this was BlackBond and a women is calling you to bad its time to close the lid on the laptop. BlackBond like The Rock doesn't pass on Pie.
lol I never knew this was umm being posted on today. :P So what are we to do while we wait for MGS 4? My GS won't open till 10 in the morning... :o
Actually now that I finished up Death Note... I have to ponder what to do...
1. Bed
2. SW
3. Games?
Oh well.. not sure... maybe Bed though, despite me not being tired... I want to wake up early and go visit some family that came in last night at my uncles tomorrow...
