Recently a Sony employee from Tokyo came out and leaked a list of games that Sony will be showcasing at this years Tokyo Game Show. The employee asked to be unnamed due the fact he would be fired for such a statment. So since there is no actual name to back this source we must say that this is only speculation and that there is the possiblity of the source being false information and hype.
The games that he listed to show at TGS 2006 are as follows: - Resident Evil 5 - Devil May Cry 4 - Assassin's Creed - Grand Theft Auto IV - Siren 3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 - Final Fantasy XIII - Tekken 6 - Silent Hill 5 - SpiderMan 3
Now for more surprisingly announced titles to show at TGS: - Killzone 3 - Fatal Frame 4 - Onimusha 5 - Kingdom Hearts 3 - Sequel to Shadow of the Colossus - Sneak Peak at God of War 3 - Ninja Gaiden 2 - Battlefield 3 or believed to be Battlefield 2142 - Sneak Peak at Zone of the Enders 3
Now most of these titles are expected to be seen at TGS since some were non-existant at E3 this year. The Tokyo Game Show is usually a chance for Eastern game developers to show off their new games and Western developers are rarely seen at the event. That is why it's hard to think that titles like Battlefield 3 and Killzone will be shown at the event.
However there is confirmation that most, if not all of these titles are in development so to toss out the possibilty of the games being shown at TGS may not be the best way to go. For example, just recently, creative director David Jaffe at Sony Santa Monica hinted on his blog that God of War is a trilogy and that we will perhaps be seeing a third installment. Also the fact that Kindom Hearts 3 is a possibilty, since there is a secret KH3 trailer at the end of beating KH2 in proud mode.

I don't know about a sequal to SOTC. The head developer guy for Team Ico isn't exactly fond of sequals apprently and to max a sequal for a game he left open for the player to inturpret the story as they wished would move away from that. Even if they did a prequal to SOTC it would take away from the players freedom for their mind.

Kingdom Hearts 3 was Suppossed to be at E3 according to The Developers, But couldn't make it, because they had nothing to show, literally.jechtshot78
Seeing as the KH team is busy with FFVXIII, it no doubt there was nothing to show. Thats fine though. If they wait till TGS to show off anything it gives me time to beat KH2 first. Which I'll go back to playing after I get back from my cyropractor appointment. I get to have fun trying to beat Demyx, joy...
Why does everyone say NG has a huge fanbase on Xbox? It hasn't even sold 700,000 yet according to reports... NG has a bigger fanbase on NES, then it does on Xbox :|

I'm unsure about some of the games such as NG and there is no way KHIII will be on TGS since KHII was just finished. The best SquareEnix can do is CGI. WTF at Capcom:| They are milking the Onimusha franchise. It ended with Demon Siege.

All I have to say to that is. Deep Dive and Another Side, another Story. The KHIII teaser is at the end of KHII, just like the KHII teaser at the end of KH.
EDIT: BTW my Sig was part of Deep dive, the Teaser for KHII at the end of KH.
Hmmm...can't say I have much confidence in that list....I mean western games are almost never shown at TGS, and they are sure never revealed for the 1st time there. Also the fact that a SoTC sequel is announced seems odd considering it took something like 5 years to make SoTC after ICO was released and now it has barely been a year and they are ready to announce it? Not likely...
Also, if NG will appear on PS3 or not I have no idea, at the moment it doesn't seem likely but anything is possible. But either way it wouldn't be shown at TGS because not enough of the game is complete, I'd expect to see it at E3'07 at the earliest. I just don't trust this list....

I do agree with NG. But from a recent interview, Itagaki has said he has 2 teams between NG2 and DOAX2 - 1 team who wants to work on a serious game and the other that is more relaxed and is working on DOAX2. But even then, I doubt they'd throw together anything to show at a show this year so I'm expecting the earliest to be next year's E3. And the whole thing about NG2 coming to PS3 is really just speculation because in a recent interview, he's said that he is excited to work with the PS3 since he's be messing around with the dev kit.

Yeah, the list seems unlikely. A few of the games are clearly going to be there.. a few are "possible" and others are unlikely. I really hope ZOE3 can show up.

10 to 1, Project Progressive will be on PS3, multi-plat though. People forget about this title, and only think of NG, hmm wonder why? I guess because people only think Team Ninja is doing is NG, despite DOA4/DOAX2/DOA Cronus/PP.

Yea, ZOE3 would own, but after recent Kojima comments, I doubt it. :( Maybe next TGS. Of course some of these will be there, and people will think, hey he was partly right! :lol: I could make a list for Nintendo/MS(And make it more believeable than this list) :D
I heard that 360 is getting some games from Sega in TGS, but that is just a rumor now. It would own if Jet Set Radio sequal and Panzer Dragoon games would show up.
