I think they got some solid receivers (Jenkins, Crumpler), but with Horn on you're team, you have atleast one receiver that will catch more balls than drop :wink:Ngamer05Alot of dropped balls from the highlights i've seen. I wonder how much Patreno will make Vick throw...
If Vick gets the start on opening day (which right now looks to be the case), then Vick is definitely on the "hot seat". Why? Because he's only won ONE playoff game since coming in to the NFL (I believe). He hasa new coach in place, added weapons and a solid defense (could be better). It's time he takes this team to the next level.nope hes won 2 playoff games
I'm sure some will disagree :(

Now cant hear anymore excuses for Vick not excelling this year and going deep in the playoffs.mrgab
Agreed. If he doesn't perform this year I can't see the Falcons sticking with him any longer.
It's not an excuse. It's a fact. Give him weapons to throw to and he can succeed. If he doesn't have any threat on the outside, why shouldn't he scramble and gain another 1000 yards on the ground? Just because they signed Horn doesn't mean you can start setting high expectations for Vick. They still need one more WR to complete the offense. Randy Moss would be huge if they can get him. But Al Davis wants too much for his players.Â

this allows him to stick it to the saints for cutting him. he was the heart and soul of that team, put 7 hard years into his career and that city. now he stays in the division and has a chance to stick it to the organization. i bet when he returns to the dome he gets a standing o or lots of cheers when he makes a catch.xbox360isgr8t
he wanted to leave and try to find another team because he felt like sean payton didnt want him here, he said he felt left out of sean paytons future plans for the saints. im from new orleans and i love joe horn, but its the nfl and things like this happen all of the time. i say good luck to him, but the falcons will be 0-2 against the saints in this upcoming season.
This, brian finneran comming back, and maybe a WR in the draft should give michael alot more weaponscory4513agreed. Whenever brian finneran caught the ball it was almost always for either for a 3rd down or a TD. + Joe Horn + the younger receivers being mentored = a better receiving core for the Falcons. Not the greatest, but better than last year.
