McNabb was a top 5 QB in his career though...

1. Rodgers

2. Rivers

3. McCoy

4. Freeman

5. Ryan

Other mentions would be Sam Bradford, Matt Stafford and Matt Cassell (I can see Cassell being like McNabb.)

5 years from now, Rivers and E Manning will both be 35. Roesthlisberger will be 34. I could see them still being quality starters, but not top 5.

My list: Ryan, Freeman, Bradford, Rodgers, Luck.

So McCoy has a few good pre-season games and all of a sudden he is going to become a top 5 quarterback? He definitely does have the potential to be one, but it is kind of early to say that he will be.

Not just that, he was pretty good when they finally put him in last season.

Yeah. He was pretty solid, but to me it was nothing that would suggest he is going to be a top 5 QB someday.

Rodgers
Rivers
Bradford
Ryan
and the 5th is up in the air to me. I want to say Stafford, but who knows if he can stay healthy, plus Andrew Luck will be 4 years into his career by then.

I don't think I can put QB's that haven't played a down in the NFL, like Luck or Mallett. Like someone said, it's too early for McCoy, who I agree could be very good, and its also too early for Luck, Mallett and anyone else who hasn't played a down yet. They could be very good though.
