The Miami Heat are going to win it all?

Yes.

Lebron and Co will 3peat. This is a fact. Lebron is the King of everything basketball and he will prove it in the NBA Finals by winning it all.

The Pacers are cool, but they can't take The Heat!

Saying anyone else can win it is just delusional thinking if you ask me.

Though, everyone knows the real reason is because The East is incredibly weak compared to The West.

A good chance....but I wouldn't count out Indiana. You have to remember that the ECF went to 7 games last year, and, fan or no fan, that could have gone either way. A healthy LeBron and a healthy Wade? Yeah, a good chance, and this is coming from a Pacers fan!

I've learned to never question the Heat's greatness. As a fan, I think they'll win it all again. BUT if they were to finally end their Finals streak, it would be this year. Indiana is a great team. I think it depends on home court honestly. And Wade's health.

Ok lets set the terms, you get the Heat and I get the Field?

Sounds good. If the Heat win, I get to pick your avatar pic which you must display for a month and if anyone else wins, you choose mine for a month.

now I feel bad because I'm a Mavs fan through and through, but gee golly the Heat are monsters.

I hope not man. The NBA is getting stale when you pretty much know who's gonna win it.

I've been a long time fan of the Miami heat and to be fair, their chances are good but there's also a chance that they might fail. Yes, their numbers look good in paper but it's a whole different thing when playoffs is on the way. You never know. But I still hope they get the championship this season for a grand slam awesomeness. Plus, it's interesting to know if Lebron and some other NBA stars will stay with their current team after this season. A whole lot of star players are on their last year of contract.

Yup

Yea, it's unfortunate. Everything points to Lebron winning it again. The perfect story for the NBA... though I suppose someone thwarting a 3-peat would also be a good story.

well they say the ball is round so we can never say that the heat can take it all over to the finals ^^

The perfect story in what sense? Unless if you're rooting for the home team, there's nothing more boring than seeing Goliath beating David repeatedly.

perfect story in that sometimes i get a little crazy and believe the NBA plays a role in what is going to happen next in the NBA

w00t!

The Mavericks are in the playoffs! I hope they beat the Heat and I have to change my avatar.

#21 Posted by yokofox33 (29226 posts) -

Heat might not make it past the 2nd round if they have to play Chicago. They look old and tired. Offense has looked shitty recently.

They seem to have a switch though, so perhaps they're just "taking it easy" till the playoffs start.

#22 Edited by Karnage108 (2404 posts) -

They will get yet another free ride to the Finals but I don't think they will win this year. They will have a hard enough time taking out Indy but I see OKC winning it all.

Hopefully the new commissioner will fix the joke of a playoff system and go with the top 16 teams in the NBA, regardless of conference. Imagine how much more exciting (not to mention fair) this scenario would look:
1. SA vs. 16. CHA
2. OKC vs. 15. WAS
3. LAC vs. 14. BKN
4. IND vs. 13. PHO
5. MIA vs. 12. TOR
6. HOU vs. 11. CHI
7. POR vs. 10. MEM
8. GS vs. 9. DAL

#23 Posted by Master_Live (13994 posts) -

How about we make it just the top 4 teams on each Conference.

#24 Edited by Braun_Roid_Rage (716 posts) -

The Heat not getting # 1 might come back to bite them in the ass. NBA players feed off emotion & the fans too much.

#25 Edited by 4myAmuzumament (1743 posts) -

Last night was an example of how easy it is for The Heat to win. Pacers had the best home record and still got destroyed on their court.

GO MIAMI!!

#26 Posted by yokofox33 (29226 posts) -

Destroyed? No way. The game was close the whole way. Heat pulled away with a few minutes left in the game. A very nice win, but destroyed? Don't think so.

#27 Posted by Ballroompirate (22263 posts) -

I'd like to see Okc vs Miami, but it's gonna be Miami vs Spurs again. I'd love to see the Heat win again but the Spurs scare the crap out of me atm.

#28 Posted by 4myAmuzumament (1743 posts) -

@Master_Live: Miami is only one team away from the championship now. I can't wait for them to mop the floor with the Spurs.

Your new avy will be great!

Yup, no "cramps" tonight. Heat are about to wreck.

Does winning in 7 mean wrecked and destroy the spurs? Bet you they destroyed the Spurs last year. You are a moron.

You must need a nap, why so cranky? The Spurs pose no challenge considering their inevitable defeat. The games the Heat lose are the ones they choose to rest/under perform. Do you really think a bunch of boring, fundamental scrubs are gonna beat this new dynasty!? Ha!

I bet my avatar on the Heat. I know they will not let me down and that Wade (and the Heat) will get five rings before any of the Spurs EVER do lol.

if the spurs keep this up you can say goodbye to that avatar LOL SA in 6

Those boring fundemental scrubs just put up 71 in a half and shot 75 percent in a half. Miami got destroyed. Where you at brah?

#37 Edited by 4myAmuzumament (1743 posts) -

I was pretty impressed. I thought they'd tire out when they closed that lead to only 7. They somehow managed to keep it going. I still hate them though. :)

Yeah, I thought about it and I didn't wanna to denigrate the Heat but make it more of a celebration of the Spurs.
