Remember, the ALDS and the NLDS will be on TBS.

The ALCS will be on TBS, the NLCS will be on FOX.

The World Series will be on FOX, and will probably be on at a really stupid time.

ALDS:

BOS defeats ANA 3-1

TB Defeats CHW 3-1

NLDS:

PHI Defeats MIL 3-1

LAD Defeat CHC 3-0

NLCS:

PHI Defeats LAD 4-1

ALCS:

TB Defeat BOS

World Series:

PHI Defeats TB 4-1

Angels Vs Cubs World Series for me.

#4 Posted by barcx17 (3782 posts) -

Gotta go with my boys in Blue!

my ideal WS would be Dodgers vs. Angels or Dodgers vs. Red Sox

#5 Posted by DA_B0MB (9938 posts) -

Above all I'd love to see the Dodgers defeat the Red Sox in the World Series. That would be just too sweet as a Yankee fan.

#6 Posted by mobking16 (835 posts) -

i hope the twins make it in, but regardless go angels go

and LAD v. LAA WS would be fun to watch, but i couldn't see the dodgers making it THAT far

Angels vs Dodgers - freeway series :D

Would love to see White Sox vs Cubs...the city would implode. I think the AL takes it again, either way.
#9 Posted by Yagr_Zero (27849 posts) -
Cubs and Angels. The top teams from each league. If only the Angels can get past Boston. They always seem to run into their brick wall.

One day in the distant future, I will get a heart attack from watching a Phillies closer walk on the edge like what happened today.

For those of you who don't have a team in the playoffs, who are you rooting for? I'm going to root for the Rays.
#12 Posted by helium_flash (9245 posts) -

Wow the Yankees didn't make it into the playoffs! :o What is that like 15 straight years making it ended?

Anyway, if my BoSox don't win, then I'm rooting for Tampa Bay.

I'm a Jays fan and I'm rooting against the Red Sox, Rays, and Cubs. I don't care who wins it, as long as it's not one of those teams.

All I know is Krod is the most overrated relief pitcher of all time. He gives up a 2 run jack to JD Drew. Red Sox now up 7-5.

Cypress_290

I agree. There is a reason why Angels fans wanted him out. The closer in general though is the most overrated position in baseball, the Blue Jays have at least 3 legitimate closers in their bullpen (all with contracts around or under $1 million/year), yet we're stuck paying BJ Ryan $10 million/year and all we get is a heart attack everytime he goes on the mound.
#18 Posted by mrgab (23311 posts) -
One of these down 0-2 teams really needs to win 1 - 2 to at least make one of these series interesting.
#19 Posted by Cube_of_MooN (9286 posts) -
I'm taking the Red Sox over the Rays, but I guess I kind of have to say that as a Sox fan. :P
#20 Posted by mrgab (23311 posts) -
Depends, if the red sox can win in tampa which has been tough place to play this year.
#21 Posted by gatorforlife07 (1098 posts) -
I really want to see Redsox vs Dodgers.
#22 Posted by linkin_guy109 (8864 posts) -
im rooting for boston to take the world series again, but i wouldnt be dissapointed with tampa winning it either, because they were so bad for a few years and they deserve to feel good about there team after all of the bad seasons theyve had
#23 Posted by fbigent34 (2389 posts) -

god lester not pitching well :|

edit: stupid annoucers the second stirke was not foultip. it was a FOULBALL! (youk at bat)

#24 Posted by andyboiii (13629 posts) -

9-1 Rays ftw

sox got murdered this game. I'm surprised because the sox play so good at home

#25 Posted by Robbie_IV (23299 posts) -
Don't worry, the Sox always hit Sonnastine really we-AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
#26 Posted by GeoffZak (3715 posts) -
I want the Rays to win the World Series this year. Anyone but the RedSox. If it's Dodgers and RedSox in the world series, I have a feeling the redsox will easily win. If the Redsox make it, the Phillies better be there to beat them.

yankee fans will never grow up and have respect for any other team.

lets be honest here, you would not root for Bostons rival the Yankees if they were playing in the World Series

I dont need to worry about rvial in the postseasson but i do have respect for other teams. So techially you wrong.

#30 Posted by GeoffZak (3715 posts) -
The RedSox are only the Yankees biggest rivals. I don't want them to win again because of all the RedSox fans I know that would rub it in my face. If Boston wins again this year, good for them, I'm not going to stop being a Yankee fan because they didn't make it to the playoffs. But like I said, I'm rooting for the Rays this year, and I have been since the begining of October. My friend who's a Boston fan even said that he wants the Rays to win.

b1. Well i am not that way as a boston fan. Ill teaste alitte but i am not that big into making fun of another great team. Though techially you do derseve to get rub into your face. Beacuse of yankes attiude. '

B2. Seem more of a bandwangor fan to me if anything else. why would he want the rays to win when he is a boston fan? makes no sense to me.

Note: i am not saying your the same as all yankee fans i have respect for people who like there teams. But when yankee fan throw the 26 world rings in you're face your going to get hit back.

When the Red Sox came back to beat the Yanks in 04, I have never seen so many Red Sox "fans" at my school. Even more showed up after they won the World Series. Gotta love a bandwagoner! :)

Now I can't wait to see how many Rays or Phillies "fans" show up.

Everyone already in attendance at Tropicana Field are bandwagoners. Where were they during the regular season when the Rays had one of the lowest season attendence from all teams in the Majors?

You're right, there are a lot of actual Phillies fan.

#38 Posted by hsedai (6446 posts) -
as a real Phillies phan, I can't say I'm cheering for either the "Rays" or the Red Sox. I have respect for the Red Sox and know nothing about the Rays. When I had season tickets at the Vet, I admit that the Red Sox fans that showed up were hardcore and motivated no matter what. We didn't play that many AL teams, so it was interesting. This was when Terry Francona was our manager and we were struggling to get to .500

If the Sox can come back and win again tonight, there is no way that they don't win. I'm rooting for TB.

Funny though, biggest bandwagoner of the red sox Skip Bayless wasnt on First Take this morning on espn.

I hate that guy.

I was kind of an anti-bandwagoner, in that, I usually root for the Red Sox, but I'm so fed up with teams buying the World Series that I wanted them to loose. I'll probably root for the Rays and it's always nice to see Philly lose, but I'll be satisfied either way.

No, I'm an anti-bandwagoner in that I usually root for the Red Sox and I rooted against the Red Sox. It didn't matter who was playing them, I wasn't rooting for I was rooting against.

Terrible call, man this has been a disaster for the umpires.
#45 Posted by AlexSays (6612 posts) -

This entire series has been horribly officiated.

Instant replay needs to be expanded, because this is ridiculous.

#46 Posted by ocdog45 (9072 posts) -

after the ycalled the game, they were talking about how the rules for umps in the world series change in 2010 so they might change them. to what is my question.

it also would of been funny if phillies won by calling hte game. rays got lucky. i smell controversy.

Personally think would be lame if the game would had been called early - in a deciding game.
#48 Posted by jharv (1774 posts) -
Should've suspended the game when there's puddles of water on the field, nuff said.
