The Braves traded away Kimbrel. The most boring team in the MLB just got even more boring.

BJ Melvin Upton goes with him, so at least there's that to be happy about.

Welp Tigers blew away the Twins in convincing fashion. Not exactly a surprise, but it was nice seeing how efficient the team was. Think they are better than last year for sure.

Couldn't have been much of a better opener for the Red Sox. Buchholz looked far more like his 2013 self than his 2014 self, Betts showed all the skills that rendered him virtually untouchable this offseason and Pedroia looks like he may actually have regained some of the power that had previously been zapped by his wrist issues.

Wow round 2 was even better for the Tigers. Insane amounts of production from unlikely candidates. Gose went 3 for 6, Avila had 3 freaking walks, and IgIasias went 4 for 4.

Don't want to draw too huge of conclusions from 2 games against the craptastic Twins, but I think the team is doing a great job of proving doubters wrong so far. Honestly think they are way better than last year.

Well here we are 11 days later and the Tigers got their 10th win after a bad game yesterday.

Shane Greene is absolutely PHENOMENAL and now has only gave up a single earned run in over 23 innings pitched. The whole order has shown an ability to hit, and we have the two highest batting averages in baseball now with Cabrera and Iglasies (sp?).

Still trying to not draw TOO many conclusions this early in the year, but if this continues it is looking like they will be favorites to take the World Series as the team is just so complete. Even with Verlander injured and Sanchez not pitching well, they only have gotten two losses.

It's crazy how much things have changed. V-Mart on the DL, starting pitching has been atrocious and the Tigers can't buy a run. Oh and still no Verlander and Sanchez is still not pitching well. We are starting to panic a little bit here in the D.

@GoldenElementXL: V-Mart has needed to go on the DL for a while now. With how he has been hitting this year I see his absence on the lineup a plus. He needs to take time off and recover.

I am at a point where I think they need to get rid of Sanchez. He has been AWFUL this year and is getting shown up by Lobstein at this point. The rest of the starters have had an off day or two but have been good for the most part. Sanchez flat out can't pitch against any team not named the Twins.

I was originally thinking they could put Simon in the bullpen when Verlander returns, but Sanchez has been so damn awful that I think they will have to move him instead. It is crazy that our bullpen pitching has been more consistent than the starting.

The lack of clutch hitting is what has been bothering me the most. They need to learn how to fucking get hits with runners in scoring position. How many times have they loaded the bases and gotten NO RUNS out of it?

Overall I am still very confident in the team. The fact that their "slump" still leaves the team in contention and winning series against the Cardinals in St. Luis says a LOT about how good the team is. On top of that, the team could be TERRIFYING once those injuries are sorted out. Verlander helps stabilize the rotation while Rondon gives ANOTHER good arm to a surprisingly good bullpen, and then you get V-Mart hitting again and we go back to Castellani's being the only bad position player on the team, and they can either trade for a proper 3rd baseman or throw Romine there as he has been surprisingly good this year.

Thoughts on the bandwagon Royals fans trying to ruin the All-Star game this year?

News flash: just because you like a team doesn't mean you try and vote the entire fucking team into the All-Star game.

The fact they pushed Hosmer over Miggy is fucking disgusting, let alone voting Escobar over Iglesias who has been absolutely incredible.

Great to see the Blue Jays on fire with an 11 game winning streak.
