I'm definitely intrigued. You guys know I love this stuff. I watched every UFL game before they took it off TV. Obviously nobody will ever match the NFL in terms of player quality, but I enjoy these smaller leagues. Same intensity and dedication to the game, without all the pomp and circumstance that comes with the NFL. In other words, I like watching football where I'm not bombarded with a million beer commercials every god damn second.
I'm looking forward to it myself. Not sure if I'll have time to watch though. I might make more of an effort, though, since I actually have a home team for once. Go Los Angeles Express! :D
I'm reading they already have a deal with ESPN. There will be two showcase games this summer, and the inaugural season starts in Spring of 2015. Can't wait.
LOL there are links on the page to become a coach or a player. I would watch if there was a local team but there isn't. I go to the local arena league games all the time.
Really? I cover the Spokane Shock, what team do you go see?
I like the idea and I'll definitely be watching for the games on ESPN 2. Based on what I've read and having seen A-11 offenses before they were banned at the high school level the rule changes add an interesting wrinkle without rendering the game unrecognizable.
Yeah it does, indoor football is an awesome game. Wish the other leagues were a little more stable though. Saw those Lorenzen highlights from a CIFL game, the playing surface looked awful.

He looked worse... And I'm not talking about his level of play. >_>
I think it is almost impossible to start a separate league at this point in time and survive. The NFL revenue is absolutely insane, so they're going to be paying their players more money. Unfortunately, I don't think any top players are going to take the risk and jump in to that league, when they are already guaranteed ridiculous money in the NFL.

Obviously, I don't expect the league to compete with the NFL. That would be like NWA Hollywood trying to compete with WWE.
@The-Apostle: Been a while since I watched wrestling, but i remember WWE was pretty huge. On a side note, I just hope something happens to compete with the horrendous NCAA s***-show that has had a monopoly since forever...
I figured it was a good analogy since NWA Hollywood is a regional indyfed while WWE is global. >_>
But, yeah, nothing will ever compete with NCAA. I just wish my school had a team. We did in the 80s-early 90s. It's why I don't follow college football.
