Thats what I'm thinking, but I'm not a big fan of the Mavs so that might have something to do with my pick as well...

I'm a Warriors fan and I still hope they make it to the playoff. Tonight game is very important for the Warriors and I hope they don't choke. I don't think the Warriors have a chance to upset the Mavs. It should be a good series but the Mavs are just too good offensively and much better defensively. It'll will be awesome if the Warriors pull off an upset.

I'm really looking forward to this series. GS is a very streaky team but they seem to be able to produce when it matters. An upset is unlikely, but very possible.

Never say never. GS has been owning Dallas in the regular season. It may transfer into the playoffs.

Will not be easy but that's about it. Mavs are battle-tested and will be ready. 4-2 Mavs.

I think if the Mavs play there game then GS has no chance. If you look at the previous three time they played(last one didn't caount, the Mavs weren't playing their starters) all games went over a hundred in scoring and that's out of character for Dallas. Its simple, Mavs play there game, they win.

I think Warriors fans are happy enough that the drought is over lol.  I don't expect GS to win this series, but I hope they at least get a couple victories.

Mavs should be careful...with a healthy BD and JRich everything is possible...

if BD explodes he's very hard to stop...

Baron Davis was a beast on Sunday. He was unstoppable. The Mavs just seem confuse and don't really know what to do for the most part. Do they want to play small or big? The Warrior play like it's their last game and wanted to win more than the Mavs. The Mavs are also not playing tough enough and flopped a lot early in the game. This is a 7 games series, so the Mavs do have plenty of time to figure out the Warriors. The Warrior pretty mush won the first game because of B.Davis. How many games can he carry the Warriors is the question. Don Nelson also know how to play the Mavs. This should be a very fun series. I love NBA playoff.

The Mavs looked not to good in game 1 and I'm worried because the Warriors have giving them a hard time through out the whole season and we will have to wait and see how things turn out.

Did Dirk really play center in game 1? I think Nelson is playing head games with Avery and making him unsure of his matchups, also Dirk looked pretty rusty out there. Baron Davis on the other hand looked like an MVP candidate, SJax is a nasty defender and this Golden State team looks alot better than an 8 seed. Should be a tough series whomever wins it, wouldn't it be something to see the Mavs knocked out in the first round?

everybody treats the warriors like an eight seed but in reality they are more like a 5 seed when healthy and after the trade. this series is going to be the hardest series for the mavs besides maybe san antonio, just because of the warriors play. im going upset in 6 and watch out if the spurs get knocked out cuz the warriors play all the other teams well.

lol, Warriors are not overrated at all. They're underrated actually. People just like the underdog story. The first game really surprise a lot of people and they want to see a good series. Many people are also disappointed with the Mavs performance. The Warriors played poorly during the first half of the season, but after the trade and B-Diddiy and J-Rich back from injuries, they just caught on fire during the last 25 games and not many people notice that.

There is nothing to worry about the Mavs, but if Golden State contiously play like that, they have a good chance to give real pressure on the Mavs and maybe even knock them out of the first round.

Mavs in 6.  Golden State can't shoot jumpers that consistently all series and eventually the Mavs D is going to man up... I do enjoy watching Mark Cuban pout on the sidelines like a baby though.  What a classless idiot.

History Lesson: Only 2 8th seeded teams have ever won a series against the number 1 seeded teams: The Denver Nuggets over the Seattle Supersonics in 1994 and the New York Knicks over the Miami Heat in 1999. Both series were best of 5 and both teams won the series 3-2.

Having said that, I believe that the Mavs will win this series in 7.

Mavs will not win this series. Warriors in 5. Mavs are too slow against them and are at a disadvantage at every position execept PF with Nowitzski. Warriors will win game 4 easily and then go back to dallas and finish them off.

Ummm there's still a chance, according to you, considering it's been done.

Every team has a weakness team - the 1996 Bulls had the Pacers, the 2005 Suns had the Spurs, the 1986 Celtics had Portland, the 80's Lakers had Houston, goes on and on... it's just unfortunate the Mavs had to face their weakness team in the first round lol...

i like GState in this series to push it to 7 games, but ultimately the Mavs should figure them out and win g4 and win the series.  i really love the NBA though. 8 seed beating a 1 seed pretty cool.
