I'm really looking forward to this series. GS is a very streaky team but they seem to be able to produce when it matters. An upset is unlikely, but very possible.
Did Dirk really play center in game 1? I think Nelson is playing head games with Avery and making him unsure of his matchups, also Dirk looked pretty rusty out there. Baron Davis on the other hand looked like an MVP candidate, SJax is a nasty defender and this Golden State team looks alot better than an 8 seed. Should be a tough series whomever wins it, wouldn't it be something to see the Mavs knocked out in the first round?
Just one game, GS isn't afraid of the Mavs but I still pick the Mavs in 5.KoFoNiO
everybody treats the warriors like an eight seed but in reality they are more like a 5 seed when healthy and after the trade. this series is going to be the hardest series for the mavs besides maybe san antonio, just because of the warriors play. im going upset in 6 and watch out if the spurs get knocked out cuz the warriors play all the other teams well.
The Warriors are increasingly overrated on these forums. I hope the Mavs pulverize them.Knowledge33

lol, Warriors are not overrated at all. They're underrated actually. People just like the underdog story. The first game really surprise a lot of people and they want to see a good series. Many people are also disappointed with the Mavs performance. The Warriors played poorly during the first half of the season, but after the trade and B-Diddiy and J-Rich back from injuries, they just caught on fire during the last 25 games and not many people notice that.Â
Mavs in 6. Golden State can't shoot jumpers that consistently all series and eventually the Mavs D is going to man up... I do enjoy watching Mark Cuban pout on the sidelines like a baby though. What a classless idiot.ScoopyMcScoop
Mark Cuban > you.
History Lesson: Only 2 8th seeded teams have ever won a series against the number 1 seeded teams: The Denver Nuggets over the Seattle Supersonics in 1994 and the New York Knicks over the Miami Heat in 1999. Both series were best of 5 and both teams won the series 3-2.
Having said that, I believe that the Mavs will win this series in 7.

Ummm there's still a chance, according to you, considering it's been done.
Every team has a weakness team - the 1996 Bulls had the Pacers, the 2005 Suns had the Spurs, the 1986 Celtics had Portland, the 80's Lakers had Houston, goes on and on... it's just unfortunate the Mavs had to face their weakness team in the first round lol...
I would love to see it happen, when its two teams I dont care for I usually like to go for the underdogandyboiii
Same thing with me.
this team has been giving the Mavs some problem and swept them in regular season...do you think they can upset Dallas in first round?yrag31
Of Course
