"New Orleans has traded Nerlens Noel to the 76ers, source tells Y! Sports."

Holy shit

Edit: They got Jrue Holiday and a 2014 1st rounder for him. I like that trade for New Orleans.

JML897

Woj just issued a correction, NO is sending the first-rounder to Philly. "Light protection" on it.

That probably means top 3 protected

So much for the Austin Rivers experiment...white_sox
Didn't he have literally one of the worst seasons of all time lol

How is Trey Burke still available!?

He had the worst PER in NBA history for a player that played a certain amount of minutes (I think it was 200 minutes)
#110 Posted by Put_in_Kitna (2602 posts) -

Sixers = morons.

I was going to watch the Draft... but I saw SHane Battier. WHY

Yeah, I read something similar not long ago.

Having him try to run the offense was a clear mistake. There were warning signs before he was drafted though.

Vasquez ran our offense. (badly) Rivers will be fine.

Correction: Not Portland. Utah I guess? Get your shit together, Woj

Ye Utah. What will Deron Williams do now? Oh wait.

Didn't they use him at PG at the beginning of the season?

Nah. Gordon missed the first few months so Rivers was forced to start at SG.

I know nothing about Steven Adams but just looking at him he looks like a bust -My expert analysis
#131 Posted by No_Hablo_Ingles (8365 posts) -

I think the 76ers are looking like early winners in the draft. They are setting themselves up to have two lottery picks in what is being called one of the best drafts in the last decade.

They also get a top 5 player in this draft (arguably the best) and someone they can let sit for the whole year while he rehabs.

white_sox
Of course, their GM is smart, he was the Rocket's assistant GM last year :D

Deron Williams was not a better PG than John Stockton. Keyword is POINT GUARD.

D-Will was arguably the best PG in the league with the Jazz, what the f*ck more do you want :| I never said he was better than Stockton

If the Rockets do land Dwight Howard, will they have enough cap space to accommodate his 8 children?

#138 Posted by JML897 (33120 posts) -
I knew Noah would be on that list. I remember being so pissed when the Bulls picked him because I thought he was a moron

yokofox33
With the money he'll save due to no income taxes, he can afford to support 8 more!
#140 Posted by No_Hablo_Ingles (8365 posts) -
Please tell me the Bucks trade him to the Rockets for Thomas Robinson... I want him, I've been watching him for the last 2 years.
#141 Posted by Major_Snake (5271 posts) -

Bucks drafted a player with a Buck type player name.

He was top 5 with the Jazz but I cant say he was playing better than Rondo, Rose, Westbrook, Paul etc. Maybe in stretches. I actually wasn't applying you said he was better than Stockton. I know what qoutation marks implies

No way, it was definitely between D-Will and Chris Paul back then.

He was top 5. Top 3, maybe, I would not argue. Remember Nash was good back in those days as well. You had Parker also. Gilbert Arenas has some beast years as well.

Yeah and D-Will always stole CP3's lunch in those games Feels bad man

There was a couple of years when the argument for best PG was CP3/D-Will. No one else.
