In a terrible tragedy, former world champion Diego "Chico" Corrales was killed Monday night in a motercycle accident in Las Vegas. Corrales was apparently riding at a high rate of speed and collided with another vehicle. The accident happened just before 10PM local time. Corrales (40-5, 33 KOs) was just 29 years old. He was involved in what many call the greatest fight ever, when he knocked out Jose Luis Castillo in May 2005.
this is sad, although ive never really watched a boxing match it still sucks to lose an athlete. first the MLB pitcher now the boxer, sheesh whats goin on these days
