Season starts in month and a half! Who ya got???

#2 Posted by yokofox33 (29407 posts) -

lol at Georgia

Mark Richt: can't win without a huge talent advantage at every position. The guy's a joke. Any adversity, and the team comes out and plays like crap. Completely laughable first half. The team doesn't even know how to tackle. They don't know how to block. He won't fire Grantham, which is what he needs to do. And he's still wasting timeouts on FREAKING ST plays. But I'm sure he'll say a little prayer during his presser, and all the bumpkins in our fan base will rise to defend him.

And looks like Mack Brown saved his ass. Is that really a good thing for Texas?

#5 Posted by monkeytoes61 (8339 posts) -

I usually think it is funny when UW fails because everyone around here loses their collective shit. But this is different, hope they can pull the upset.

If he wins the Big 12 yeah. I don't care about whos in and who is out right now. OU GOT GAPED! I was at the state fair, told so many OU wastes that they are shit. Can't wait for the skins to get the same treatment tomorrow.

Not looking like it. I doubt they'll have a better second half than O. 5 college games on tv here, and not one is that damn game. Bullshit.

I love seeing OU lose

Entertaining Penn State vs Michigan game. Kick was just short. Overtime.

Oh and Maryland barely beats Virginia? Yeah we suck.

#13 Posted by 36Ounces (2065 posts) -

When your top 3 WRs and 2 RBs are hurt with no D you're fucked. Puts too much pressure on Murray. He forced some of those throws today.

Stanford a fraud. Hope they lose so next weeks FSU/Clemson game will be two top 5 teams.

And Oregon best team in the nation.

Yea Grantham is a worthless piece of shit. Go back to Dallas you fuck.

The overtimes in the Michigan game were painful to watch, tough loss.

#16 Edited by Braun_Roid_Rage (719 posts) -

Baylor baby !

Alabama - Oregon title game confirmed?

#17 Posted by Boston_Boyy (3921 posts) -

I feel like I should be surprised by Stanford's loss but just can't be. They've felt overrated all year and seemed to routenely struggle with teams better opponents had no problem completely decimating, and I would have truthfully been surprised if they won next week vs. UCLA regardless of today's result. Speaking of whom, Oregon will likely play twice (2 weeks from now and probably in the Pac-12 Championship too), and will probably be the determining factor between them going to the National Championship game or not.

#18 Posted by 36Ounces (2065 posts) -

@Boston_Boyy:

UCLA good, but I don't think they can beat Oregon.

#19 Posted by monkeytoes61 (8339 posts) -

Texas A&M defense is a joke. Shows how good Johnny Manziel is.

No d, hell of a game though.

#21 Edited by Boston_Boyy (3921 posts) -

I honestly thought Manziel's season was over when I caught the clip of him landing awkwardly on that jump throw and grabbing his knee. Glad to see it was nothing serious, kid is an absolute freak with his athleticism/extrasensority and probably the most entertaining college athlete since Vince Young and Reggie Bush.

Been saying that since week 1. Even if they had so many starters missing.

#23 Posted by 36Ounces (2065 posts) -

Ay Yoko ready for the game next week?

#25 Posted by Braun_Roid_Rage (719 posts) -

Big 12 wide open with the OU loss.

Big 12 wide open with the OU loss.

If Texas played like they did vs OU, they would easily win it. They held them to 6 real points on offense. They bullied both lines. Ran all over them. Sacked the crap out of them. Were aggressive in the air. They were bullies, and they showed how dominant they can be. If they did this every week, top 5 team easily. Sadly tho, they will fuck it up and lose a few more conference games.

@36Ounces: It's potentially the biggest game in ACC history. Not gonna be easy at all. If FSU wins, it's going to be close. I'm nervous already.

I hear ya. FSU won last year with a QB (I hate to say less skilled) but EJ was SOOOO inconsistent. We will see if Winston can handle the hype. Either way will SOMEONE in the ACC knock the SEC out of the national championship? Yea I know I'm questioning my sanity as I'm typing this.

#29 Posted by 36Ounces (2065 posts) -

I'm ready for that shit. Death Valley will be rockin Sat night, hope Jameis can keep his composure.

#30 Edited by nolzwin (362 posts) -

I'm gonna fire up the smoker throw a pork shoulder on, ice down some silver bullet and see what happens lol

#31 Posted by yokofox33 (29407 posts) -

Well, Winston at least showed he can keep calm on the road with the Pitt game. Obviously Pitt is no Death Valley (or a Clemson-caliber team), but that was still a prime time game with a pretty raucous crowd.

You know how he gets pissed off and yells at linemen an receivers. That's the composure i'm talkin about. Dude's got into it with Jimbo couple times.

LOL @ Louisville.

LOL @ Louisville.

And that was their toughest game all year I think. Killer game, though.

#39 Posted by Chutebox (36763 posts) -

Anyone watching ESPN college pregame? Dude in the back is fucking hilarious.

Georgia's best DT just got ejected on one of the softest personal fouls I've ever seen in my life. And he was being held when it was called. Geez.

Was it a fucking targeting (this needs to go away) foul or he throw a punch or something?

#42 Edited by yokofox33 (29407 posts) -

So stoked for tonight's game. Really hoping the Noles can pull out the win. I'd love for FSU-UM to be undefeated for their matchup in 2 weeks. I'll be driving up to Tally for that one.

Targeting. Barely even touched him.

Georgia just had another player ejected for a terrible targeting call, but it was reversed. The penalty (on a third and long) wasn't reversed however (how the fuck does this even make sense?! How can a targeting call be reversed, and the penalty yardage still enforced??), and Vandy just got a TD to get them back in the game.

#44 Edited by GamerForca (7079 posts) -

Well, this game was partially gift-wrapped by the officials and their targeting penalties (the one that was "reversed" ended up being the most costly) and UGA injuries, but can we get some real coaches in Athens any time soon? Please? Richt and Bobo can't do shit on offense if their players aren't significantly more talented at every position.

And THAT sums up the season. Looks like UGA just lost their last starting WR on the last play of the game. Jesus..

#45 Edited by Put_in_Kitna (2618 posts) -

Aggies and Auburn game is good, Manziel in another close game. Dude owns.

#46 Posted by GamerForca (7079 posts) -

Ohio State has lost a player to another atrocious targeting penalty. Shoulder-to-shoulder hit. This rule is beyond ridiculous.

#47 Edited by Put_in_Kitna (2618 posts) -

What do you guys think of the new rule they are proposing for next year? They call it "No tackling allowed".

#48 Edited by nolzwin (362 posts) -

Damn that's what happens when I root for the pond lizards. I want them to win out till the FSU game.

that ain't far from the truth

#50 Posted by Put_in_Kitna (2618 posts) -

LOL Auburn. Why you hurry up? You give Manziel 1:20 seconds with 3 timesouts, SMH.
