Let me see i guess Matt Lehinart was kinda dissopointing in the NFL Eddie griffin in the NBA and Robert Traylor in the NBA who else was a dissopointment oh and i just saw on ESPN.com that the trail blazers had the #2 pick in 1984 draft guess how was in that draft that they could have picked MJ, Chrles Barkely, and  John Stockton any why they took a bust called Sam Bowie

I think Leinart was a little overrated coming out of college, but he's nowhere near the level of busts such as Ryan Leaf and Brian Bosworth.

Leinart was chosen like 9th or 10th in the draft, he wasnt that highly anticipated and for a rookie he had a pretty good half season taking over for kurt warner so I dont know how you can say he was disappointing

how can you say leinhart has "failed in the pros", according to your title? you act like his career is over. he actually played quite well last season and seems like he'll have a good career.

Matt Leinart is of to a pretty good start actually, he really got it together the last half of the season. I think the biggest faillure would have to be Jay Williams, who effectifly ended his own career driving and crashing his motorcycle, which is really sad, because he would have been a great player.

Harold Minor aka "Baby" Jordan....

Yeah right, lol!!!!

I am not sure if he was a college athlete, but that was who I thought of being a big bust for the NBA.

Lehinart?  Dude give the man some time.  He is on a bad team and done a good job for his first year.  If my team had him i'd be darned happy.

Ryan Leaf, everybody said he would be better than Peyton Manning.
lets see Manning
2 time league mvp
i think like 7 pro bowls
Superbowl ring
Superbowl mvp
touchdown record
qb rating record
i bunch of other stuff.
really good commercials
100 million contract

i guess leaf did ok to.

reddick is a damn good shooter coming off the bench, he will a Steve Kerr type of player. If he had more size or played better defense he would be a starter. He definately is no bust.

can't forget about lawrence phillips. he got good numbers at nebraska thanks to their system and their offensive line. he was a horrible nfl player, and an even worse human being.

ryan leaf definately, along with tim couch, and akili smith (or however you spell it)  andre ware was a pretty big bust as well, so was joey harrington, mike williams, and charles rogers.

Saying Matt Leinart (try looking him up and spelling his name right) is a bust already just ruined your credibility.

Think Ryan Leaf.

Yes that was quite terrible, but Ricky Williams played well in New Orleans (he was on the team when they got their first playoff win).  Also, the Saints got some of their picks back when they traded him to Miami.

i agree!  Matt Leinart hasn't had a chance to prove himself yet.  I think he'll be just fine.
