I got Tigers in 7.

Wow I don't know who too root against in this series.

Not feeling good about the series after tonight. In addition the whole punchless offense thing we've lost homefield advantage and still have to face Scherzer and Verlander before heading back to Boston.

Good match-up yesterday, but the one run only scares me, even against Boston's great pitching.

Getting hits was something that happened at least. I really can't stand Tigers baserunning though #FireBrookens

Why is it that our hitters seem to go to sleep everytime Verlander is up? He does his damn job of pitching the other team out, but God forbid one lucky solo home run hit happens and the hit squad that has put up games of 16 runs at one point in this year can't manage to get a single run in....

The grandslam choke job last game was bad enough, but to follow it up with a lame performance like this is disheartening.

They need to get their **** together and take this series already because I am starting to actually worry....

It's called playoff pitching, you know they are good.

I know the pitchers are good, but there is something weird going on where whenever Verlander's up, are batters don't hit ****. We have other good pitchers who when they are up our hitters go and do their job even though they are still going up against other good pitchers.

There was a stat that was said on the broadcast last night that this has happened 3 of the last 4 times Verlander was up.

It just makes no sense that such a strong hitting staff can't get a SINGLE RUN when Verlander is up doing his job, yet don't have this problem when other pitchers are up.

Red Sox will win after they beat Verlander last night.

I want the Tigers to just take the rest of these games, but I have to admit I definitely see this going to game 7.

Unless one of these teams chokes up bad these next two games the series will probably go to game 7.

If Detroit takes the next game then it is going to be an even more uphill game for Boston with them going against Verlander in game 7 with the way he has been pitching post-season.

It will be a tough end to the series regardless who wins. As long as the hitters show up to play for Detroit, Boston will have a hard fight ahead of them to get that last win.
