Salutations

Hey, I just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Joe Dodson and I'm the new Features Editor at Gamespot. To tell you a bit about me, I like: Dangerous reptiles, Japanese shock films, most flavors of jelly bellies and books. My turn offs include: Wet bathroom floors, sequels, paladins and santa dogs.

I'm someone that likes features. So GET TO WORK, DODSON! Just kidding (not really).

I've been around these parts for quite sometime, and signed up for complete a long time ago. I'm a full-on Guitar Hero addict right now, but I've been clean for about three days. Haven't moved on to the new generation of consoles, but that's mostly because I still have a big back catalog to clear out.

On the Gamespot front, I spend most of my time in the Community Contributions Union, either posting about nothing of consequence, or asking for someone to critique my player reviews. Due to my increased workload at work, I don't write nearly as prolifically as I used to. Lately, I've been digging around for any information I can find about Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero 3.

Hello! My name is yian. I have been a member since Feburary 2003, and Gamespot is so far my one and only game web site I go to, because it has great features!

So you like Japanese shock films... I assume you have seen Ichi the Killer? Great stuff! :)

I like Ichi the Killer, but there are a couple other Takashi Miike movies that just blow it away. Visitor Q is probably the most shocking thing I've ever seen in my life (after just the first fifteen minutes, and it gets crazier and crazier from there), and Happiness of the Katakuris is a very good, very weird way to spend an hour or two.

The Audition was alright, but the ending left me a little unimpressed.

And Audition was awesome, although I do feel Ichi The Killer is wildly overrated.
