What are/were your top 5 favorite games that were released in 2014? Here's mine:

1. Super Smash Bros 4

2. Sunset Overdrive

3. COD: AW

4. Mario Kart 8

5. Halo: MCC (this would be higher up, and likely #1, if it wasn't for all the issues)

"Good" 2014 games that could make the list but that I won't try until likely next year: GTAV (PS4), Dragon Age: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, Bayonetta 2, Destiny

Dark Souls 2, Wolfenstein: TNO, Velocity 2X, Far Cry 4, Diablo III: UE Edition. I've played very few 2014 games though.

mind you, I've yet to play Dragon Age Inquisition, Assassin's Creed Unity, Divinity: Original Sin, and many others, but I'm comfortable with this list as is (yes, I enjoyed Destiny a lot, in spite of its issues which don't really bother me). Honorable mentions include:

I'm currently playing Divinity and it seems like a game that I can love. Haven't played DA:I & Dark Souls 2 either. So, here's my list so far.

1. Sunset Overdrive - Would have loved to see some sort of free roam multiplayer though, really miss that! Crazy and great game though, and unique.

2. Destiny - A bit repetitative, but still a great game.

3. The Crew - Enjoyeble and pretty damn nice.
