Whats the highest amount you have ever spent on a game?. Mine is for the PS1 the original MGS1 with that big silver box where you got the sound track, Dog tags and game and probably more. This was at the time new £64,99 and this is the highest I have paid for a game. I was looking to what I could pre order for next and saw that Call of Duty: Ghosts was £74,16p and probably higher on other websites or in shops. I no you get the season pass with it but the rest seems a bit poor and at least with that MGS you got a big massive silver Box with everything inside neat and tidy. The standard edition is £34.97 so that season pass don't seem that its going to be all that good. I normally try and get PC games at £29,99 or below even though I have pre orded and paid for X Rebirth for £39,99 but that is unusual for me but that looks good but any higher I would not have pre orded and £39,99 was pushing it.

I paid 100 dollars Canadian for Fifa 13 so I could get it a week before the street date release. I'll probably never do that again though I don't regret it since im a huge fifa fan. I just got a little impatient at the time.

I paid £99.99 for it but I have no regrets. Came with a sweet Raiden figure.

£100 for the Halo Reach Legendary edition. Should have just paid £40 for the regular version.

The helldidn't you get the japanese import like me? It's like 20 bucks. :P

Sure, you need a translation guide (quite rarely though), but it sure as hell is worth saving 250$+.

Nope, I got the real deal. :p

I don't know, I just sort of feel like it's cheating by getting the japanese version of expensive games if they've been released in your region. Yeah, I know it makes no sense, lol. I do take comfort in the thought that if I ever wanted to sell it though, I'd probably still make a profit. I've been following saga's prices for a few years, hoping it'd get cheaper, but instead it keeps getting higher and higher. These days, I've seen it for as much as $450.

There will always be a collector's market for video games, hell, it's probably one of biggest and actually cheapest collector's market there is (gun collecting for example is extraordinarily expensive) so you are definitely set if you ever wanna sell it.
