Same as above. I liked SR3, but would pass on 1&2. Same goes with Borderlands. I like the new Borderlands Handsome Collection, but would probably not go back to original Borderlands.
I really don't have a problem with remasters, though I still see how people do. I'm a bit of a graphical and performance lover, and while I know a lot of remasters are just money grabbing attempts, I really do enjoy seeing older games that are a bit harder to get into because of how dated they are getting a nice new look to them, while hopefully staying loyal to the originals style. Some good example that i'm looking to see would be a Mass Effect trilogy remaster, which could hopefully bring Dragon Age: Inquisition style graphics to the original trilogy, and allowing for a more accurate port of player decisions in to the new Mass Effect currently in production, assuming that the new one isn't a prequel. as long as remasters are done well and with care I think they're great to play
