Will Watch_Dogs be a Success or Disappointment?

Its graphics look good and its open world so it may be fun. It could be crap though if its too realistic and doesn't let you have fun in it. After playing Saints Row 4, im not sure if i can play a game I can't leap over a building in a single leap or run on water. But i'll wait and see, maybe it'll work.

But as I said, if its too slow and realistic, it may not be worth it. If I want to follow real life rules i'd just go outside in real life and be bored out of my mind... which I won't do cause outside sucks, but you can see what I mean.

Ever gone outside and just looked around and seen nothing good... ya ok thats the sun up there, bit of grass on the ground... and I see a tree, ok great. Is that... ya thats rain i think, time to go inside this sucks.

I'm sure it will be mediocre at best yet somehow still successful.

I have a feeling that everyone that owns a next gen is gonna buy it, so it's sales will be up there. But I also feel that the game isn't going to play like the E3 demo of last year and will disappoint a lot of people, because of it. From what I can tell, the only thing going for it is the Tropico aspect of the NPC having their own randomly generated profiles. Which lets the game play with that aspect with it's missions and randomly generated missions. How much that adds to the game we'll just have to wait and see.

No one knows, but there's one thing I'm certain of : It will be a commercial success.

How would anyone be able to say if its good or not? its not out yet not even the dodgy pirate-scum have it yet

@Pffrbt: I am buying it, really only because there is nothing else out on the PS4. So it will at least be successful, because I'm sure I'm not the only one

Dissappointment because gamers are graphic whores.

Once the hype dissipates, Watch Dogs will be on sale like every other hyped up game. Especially when powerhouse games like The Witcher 3 launch, people will definitely trade in Watch Dogs or sale it on Ebay for $20 - $30.

I think it will be very successful as it looks to be very good.

It looks great, but it has so much hype and if it doesn't turn out to be as great as we all think it will be then it will review badly.

Ubisoft seems to be putting a lot behind it. Even talks of it becoming a film. I think Watch Dogs could become their next Assassin's Creed. I hope it is.

Based on my guts , it'll be a successful title ! but we have to wait ....

This made me chuckle. I like going outside, though. Having a stroll with some music on. It's relaxing. Maybe I'm getting old.

It will succeed, but there will always be some stupid idiots say its dissapointing its not that good bla bla bla, i think the game will be fun. It will get an 8/10 or maybe a 9/10

This game has been hyped so much that I fear an 8/10 will not be considered a success...

The press will love it and it will be a major financial success for Ubisoft. On the other hand, I have no idea how it will be received by the 'core' gaming audience. Really can't say that I'm too hyped for this game but then again, I didn't even look forward to GTA.

I think my biggest gripe with these GTA-esque games is that everything is set in some American city somewhere so it always feels overly familiar (which is why I thought Sleeping Dogs was amazing and fresh). I'd love to have seen Watch Dogs take place in some country like Great Britain, or Brazil, or Japan...or Norway!

i really hope it's good, i have pre-ordered it. One of the few times i actually do that stuff

Third option doesn't make sense . Why ask the question when we can wait and see for ourselves .?
