why my k/d so weak even tho I get lots of kills?

I got PS4 and BF1 a couple weeks ago and have been playing it like life depended on it. I sit almost 24/7 and play it. I'm addicted to this game. I get lots of kills and little deaths, but my k/d weak, why? I mean my k/d ain't that bad. it's around 2.80. I have 28,000 kills & 10,000 deaths, so pretty good stats, but I feel like my k/d should be a lot higher. I thought it would be at least 5.00 cuz I don't die that much. I usually play with tanks, jets and sniper. I dominate every game. I have no idea where those 10,000 deaths came from. anyways. why my k/d only 2.80? I feel like it should be at least 5.00 cuz I'm extremely good at the game. get lots of kills and rarely die. wassup with this?

Math? It's just math.

The less you die while getting the same kills will get your average up.

Lol. I don't think many would argue that 2.8 isn't a "very good" K/D ratio. Especially for Battlefield which is arguable more competitive and harder to get kills in than the likes of, say, Call of Duty. Maybe you'll go 25-5 one round (a K/D of 5.) and 25-10 another round (a K/D of 2.5). This averages to a K/D of 3.33. This doesn't quite fall into your range but it just shows that every match counts... and with a K/D being so high a match even as relatively decent as 35-20 will drive it down.

It's like this with the mathematics. To make the calculation of the ratio you need to divide the kill by the death.

2.80 is a good and high ratio. Having a very high ratio require you to play another way so you get kill rarely. You can't just run around normally and expect high ratio.
