location could make a difference. I think without many obstacles and stuff, then Master Chief would definitely win. Add more things Snake could use to hid behind or whatnot, then maybe Snake.
First of all i dislike both game series that these two respective characters come from, so i have no bias for either one. But based purely on facts taken from seeing both in action in their gaming series, i'd say Master Chief would win.
Why? - genetically modified soldier both mentally and physically, futuristic armour thats extremely strong and powerful. Aswell as having more advanced and sophisticated weapons and fighting styles along with massive experience in warfare and a vast knowledge of tactical warfare against an advanced alien race. All of these give him an edge in combat over Solid Snake, although terrain might limit some of the Chief's abilities and decisions it wouldn't hinder him. He was designed to be a perfect soldier afterall so he has the ability to adapt to most situations almost instantly.
Again before anyone thinks i'm some Halo fan, i'm not.
