Which series schould die of by now?

What game series or even whole franchises schould knot a end to it in your opinion.

The is one rule: You also have to say why! (next to the standard GS rules ofcourse!)

Call of Duty, so that we can have good FPSs again.

final fantasy - because they just plain suck.

For me i'd have to say Resident Evil, it schould've stopped when they peaked this is just getting worse and worse...

Assassin's Creed. Even though I like the series, it needs to bow out and finish the story already.

Assassin's Creed Series.

Because it's becoming too long with no end in site.

CoD because you know exactly why.

Resident Evil because it died after Resident Evil 4.

Also I think Resident Evil played a big role in actually pushing the Horror Genre off track.

Dead Space 3 was so bad that I was happy that it ended there.

WWE games. The series hasn't gotten any good since the PS2 eras where they were fun and WWE errr WWF No Mercy was the only good WWF/E game back then as well.

Actually I think if they just dropped the modern-day parts and underlying plot completely and focused on making cool stories in whichever era they chose (and stopped trying to release one every year and instead focused, again, on making better games) then AC has no reason to bow out in my opinion. The concept is cool and has almost endless potential.

It really died with RE3... CVX&RE4 were the beginning of the end.

Apparently, according to Ubisoft themselves, Feudal Japan is too well known, and they prefer to explore lesser known time periods like, you know, the American and French revolutions, or Victorian London... God Ubisoft is so full of shit.

None. If a series ends for me then I'll stop buying the games, problem solved but it will allow for others who still enjoy it to carry on playing them.

I read a post somewhere saying that developers have plans for next 10-20 years for the series or something like that can't remember correctly but this series is not dying soon guess we all will just stop buying assassins creed games.

We do have Good FPS's though. A lot of good ones actually.

Battlefield- Doesn't change much, all the dlc milking.

Well I never like to say that any series should specifically die, as you always could make a series better and move past your mistakes, but right now, excluding the obvious call of duty, assassin's creed is in my crosshairs. This really all stems from their recent releases, one of which was just a reskined cersion of their last game with Rogue, and while you could argue that Black Flag was a reskin of 3, it added the naval combat, making it one of the best in the series as far as i'm concerned, as well as the broken and buggy release that was Unity. As of right now I would say that Ubisoft really needs to reconsider their development strategy if they really do care about releasing quality games, as they claim that they do, or else series like assassin's creed and other Ubisoft flagships may soon become entirely bland and stagnant, that is if you don't already believe that they are

None of them...... somebody out there might like that patticular series and I wouldn't wish it away from them.

15 main series games along with tons of spins offs.

Didn't they sort of do that in Unity? I haven't played it, but I heard they've completely stopped working on the modern day story. Now they're just focusing on throwing players into different settings

Assassins Creed.

The combat in that series is incredibly terrible. Black Flag would have been an amazing game if they dropped all the Assassins Creed nonsense and just focused on what made it a good game rather than throwing in terrible combat and stealth just so it can stay as part of the series. In other words it should have just been a new IP about commanding a pirate ship.

Call Of Duty because reasons.

And Assassins creed series doesn't need to die. It just needs a break.

Allright if I had to be really really honest....... I would kill off The Soul Series..........

I know theres always going to be trolls in Online Multiplayer but This Series was designed for the Express purpose of being a Perpetual Nuisance to all involved......

For the good of this community this series has to go........

But like I said before...... alot of people like this particular series..... I wouldn't wish it away from them...... what kinda monster do you take me for ? :(
