What I mean is which games(and these should have a really good storyline) has almost been like reading a novel or more novels. I mean both in length, dept etc. The only difference is that you can see what happens instead of just only reading about it. Well, which games?

Any Final Fantasy.... Always lose myself in them.

Lost Odyssey

I think that the Metal Gear games have great storylines.

If the main protaganist of a game is likeable then its quite easy to enjoy the world they are in. Its hard to enjoy a game (or a book) if you dont care about, or dislike, the main character.

Bioshock. But it isn't like reading a novel... it's like being a part of it.

KOTOR, but moreso Shadow of Destiny. That game's story is fantastic; it will leave your brain in knots for quite a while (once you experience all of the endings).

METAL GEAR SOLIDS! I love them, just the twists, the character mannerisms and everything else. Recently though I thought Bioshock and Uncharted did great jobs last year!

I dunno, I'll just look over there with my hands open behind my back, just in case something falls in them. *Wink wink*

Probably Hotel Dusk, or classic adventure games such as Monkey Island, Grim Fandango or Gabriel Knight.
