When I say old xbox, I mean the original xbox, not the 360.

I have had a lot of success selling my hold system and games at GameStop. If there is one near you I would try to do that. But you could always find another store in your area that would buy them, maybe a pawn shop would also take them depending on the system/games. If you really have no local stores, ebay always proves to be work in this situation. Still, though, I would definetely recommend GameStop. Good luck on selling those systems.

100% ebay.

dont take them in to gamespot, you will get pennies on the dollar you would get from ebay.

set up a 7 day auction, starting 99cents, no reserve.

you will get exactly what they are worth.

last year when we bought our house and moved i sold every video game item i owned (save my gaming pc). i sold almost 400 items over a two week period. i did not have any bad experiences and made nearly 6000 dollars, way more than if i had taken my stuff in to a shop.

it is really easy. all you need is an ebay account, a paypal account and a digital camera.

I just have to say, that I actually have gotten good deals at GameStop, but I really do have to agree with you. If you want some in-store credit with GameStop (which can go a long way) I would recommend it. But I should have definetely said that ebay will probably turn the best profit.

I know that the gamestop in my area doesn't buy original xbox games. I just don't know about original xbox consoles.

They might take the console as my friend traded in his old Xbox for credit towards a 360 at our local Gamestop. But honestly, if you can, just sell it online. You'll get so much more in sales.

Some Gamestops might take them. Otherwise, the best place I know of would be Play N Trade (they have alot of legacy systems and games) or a swap meet or other event.

Ebay or a Flea Market. Here in Florida I have to local stores, Game Dungeon and Blue Dragon, that sell and trade older systems.

You can try Glyde. I've had some good fortune with unloading games with them.
